Doug Klinger Joins LifeCare as Chief Operating Officer

SHELTON, CT, July 1, 2010

LifeCare^®, Inc., a leading provider of health and productivity solutions for employers nationwide, announced today that Doug Klinger has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing LifeCare’s Operations and Service Delivery, IT, and Internet Services functions.

Before joining LifeCare, Klinger was President of Bee Mountain LLC, an investor and advisor to companies and fund managers in the healthcare, internet media and enterprise software sectors. Prior to this, he worked at Monster Worldwide, where he was President of Monster North America, leading Monster.com, Monster.ca and public sector enterprise software provider, Monster Government Solutions.

Prior to his career at Monster, Klinger worked for 10 years at CIGNA Corporation, a global health services company. He spent 7 years as President of CIGNA Health Services, a leader in specialty healthcare services. In this role, he led the following companies: Intracorp, CIGNA Dental, CIGNA Information Management (clinical informatics software), CIGNA Behavioral Health, CIGNA Vision, CIGNA Pharmacy and Tel-Drug.
