LifeCare Program Spotlight
Protect Your Organization with our Flu Preparedness
Program
With the flu season fast approaching, it's critical
to educate employees on the importance of protecting themselves
and their coworkers against the unnecessary spread of the seasonal
flu and the H1N1virus (also known as Swine Flu). We've created an
array of helpful resources to help our clients do just that.
- Clients and members now have access
to the Flu
Resource Center via the LifeCare web site. The Resource Center contains tip sheets, FAQs, articles, and links to the CDC and other health organizations for up-to-date information.
- Our bi-weekly flu awareness e-mail series
contains up-to-date flu information complete with links to helpful
resources, which clients can forward directly to employees. Topics
include:
- Facts About the Flu
- Who Should Get Immunized
- Staying Healthy at Work
- Protecting Your Child From the Flu at
School
- Backup Care for Children and Older Adults
- What To Do If You Get Flu-Like Symptoms
- Anti-Viral Drugs and Swine Flu
- Pandemic Flu: Planning for Individuals
and Families
Additional information about H1N1 is posted as it
becomes available through the CDC or HHS; their sites are checked
daily for updates. |
